How is everyone doing on this cold rainy night. Its a good night to do some reading. I think I will continue reading The Zoo by may favorite author-James Patterson. Love his books! He don't make a big thing out of something. He gets right to get.Not one that has to tell what color is a shirt that so-in-so is wearing or the sky is gray kinda stuff.

I decided to by another book the other day. Its called Immortal by J. R. Ward. From what I have read on back its about a vampire. That alone is enough to get me interested. I have been reading vampire books since 2008/2009 after I got laid-off from a factory job. If the book is really good I can read 200 pages in a day.

I went over to April's place this afternoon and spent some time with her and grand-kids today. Took Miss B with me and got her nails cut. My youngest grand-child is Tiny Guy who is 2 years old. He is just a talking away. Says thank you, your welcome, and so many other words. He is so darn cute. But then again he is my grand-child...lol

OAD 220 class time.

Afternoon all!!

For those that are just looking through all the blogs. I have gone back to college and let me tell you it has been a struggle with a taste of headache a long the way. Let me tell you...I should of done this years ago!! It has changed me in ways I never thought it could. I feel a whole lot better about things I never thought I would.

This past few weeks in my OAD 220 Workplace Technology class I have learned about different contraptions. I have to put my voice on a Podcast on a "how to" use a Fax machine. There are all kinds of company's that use them. Most use them to fax important information from one company to another. It can be used to send conference information like dates, times of, and even to make hotel reservations.

I have also used a digital camera, but then again who hasn't in this time and age. I had one of my classmates take a picture so I could use it for LinkedIn. We have to upload them to our LinkedIn accounts so that everyone on LinkedIn can see what we look like, myself takes bad pictures...lol . Not really, just kidding! On a serious note, this class has helped me with being a better co-worker. One not only has to be a good worker, he/she has to feel relaxed around new people. Which actually this is what has happened with going back to school.

Going to Owens Community College has been a very interesting for me. I was a very shy person for most of my life. This college has made it very easy to be around other students in a class room. And talk about instructors. They have been the best when it comes to teaching a non-traditional student like myself. I learned things in my child hood that is done a whole lot different today. I would like to say thanks to Owens and instructors for all the time they took to help me understand all the needed information to learn about new things. It takes a special instructor to have patients for me.

Morning!!!

There has been way to much bullying going on in the world. Let's try and stop this by helping someone you know is being bullied. Stop and say "you are loved" or "I'm sorry for what they are doing" and "God loves you."  This may just make that person feel better about themselves.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
